Overview
The Continental Kryptotal Rear is a gravity mountain bike tire engineered specifically for the rear wheel. Its tread pattern is optimised for drive traction, braking control and predictable cornering, delivering grip and stability across mixed and loose terrain. Designed as the rear-specific partner to the Kryptotal Front, it excels in trail, enduro and downhill riding.
Built with a robust, puncture-resistant Tubeless Ready carcass, the Kryptotal Rear is offered in a range of casings (Trail, Enduro and Downhill) and compounds (Endurance, Soft and SuperSoft) so you can match durability and grip to your discipline. All versions feature a folding bead and are E25-rated for e-bike use up to 25 km/h.
Continental bicycle tires are backed by a manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. In most regions, including Canada, a 2-year warranty applies from the date of purchase.
What is covered: failures caused by the manufacturing process (e.g., casing separation, molding defects, or premature sidewall failure not caused by riding conditions).
What is not covered: normal wear and tear, punctures from debris, damage from improper installation, incorrect tire pressure, or wheel rub.
How to make a claim:
1. Consult your dealer – Continental does not handle direct-to-consumer bicycle warranty claims. Bring the tire to the original authorized retailer/bike shop where it was purchased.
2. Bring proof of purchase – your original sales receipt is required to initiate a claim.
3. Inspection – the shop will inspect the tire and submit a claim on your behalf to Continental or their local distributor.
